The Silenced Voice
I bear the cries the weary dare not sound,
Through shadowed years their grief was forced to stay.
I lift their truth from deep forgotten ground,
And turn their silent pain to light of day.
For those ignored beneath oppression’s hand,
Whose hopes were crushed before they learned to rise,
I speak until the world can understand,
And place their hidden dreams before all eyes.
Though fear may build its walls of stone and steel,
No chain can bind the truth they hold inside.
Their strength shall bloom, their wounds at last shall heal,
And through my voice their spirits will not hide.
