The Voice Unseen

A heart full of passion,
And eyes full of dreams.
Her voice so warm, so sweet,
Flowed gently like a stream.

She sang her best,
No soul could stand against.
They heard a voice,
Yet judged her face.

“Talent without beauty,
Has no place to begin.
Just look at every star,
They sing, and beauty lets them in.”

She left her hope,
With tears unseen.
Talent lost to beauty,
Like countless broken dreams.
