Is there a line limit or formatting requirement?
Most of our contests have a maximum limit of 40 lines, but please check the specific rules for each prompt. We highly recommend submitting your work in a standard, readable font (like Times New Roman) and uploading it as a PDF to ensure your stanzas and line breaks format perfectly.

Are the submissions judged anonymously?
Yes. To ensure complete fairness and prevent any unconscious bias, all entries are read "blind" by our editorial panel. Please make sure your name or contact information is not written anywhere on the poem document itself.

How long does it take to announce the winners?
We typically announce the Champions and Honorable Mentions within 3 to 4 weeks after a contest's deadline closes. All participants will receive an email notification as soon as the results are published on the website.

Will I receive feedback on my poem if I don't win?
Due to the high volume of submissions we receive for our Free contests, we are unable to provide personalized feedback for every entry. However, participants who enter our Paid contests are guaranteed to receive a brief, constructive critique from our judges.

How are cash prizes distributed to international winners?
We welcome poets from all over the world! Cash prizes are distributed digitally via PayPal or Stripe within 7 business days of the official announcement.
